Academic advising

Academic advisers in the Faculty of Education are here for one reason only: to assist our students, both prospective and current, in their educational journeys.

Whether it’s a question about prerequisites, course planning and programs, or advice on academic difficulty, we urge you to take advantage of the services our knowledgeable staff offers.

Locations

Our advisers located in the MacLaurin Building will answer your questions about our teacher education programs.

Our adviser in the McKinnon Building will answer your questions about our kinesiology and recreation and health education programs.

You may speak with an adviser in-person by appointment or on a drop in basis, on the telephone or by email. If you have many questions it's best to speak with an adviser in-person or on the telephone. 

Appointments: Please call 250-721-7877 to schedule an appoinment for Monday afternoon or Friday morning.  

Drop in: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Please arrive no later than 3:30 p.m. to ensure you have enough time with an adviser.
