We also provide support for everything from simple "How do I..." questions to broader planning for special projects by students, instructors and researchers. - Printers: N-up (black and white but handles PDF files better) in lab. Stations are setup to print to MacD211, MacD282 and Curriculum Library printers.
- Projector: NEC NP3250W ceiling-mounted
- Whiteboard and secondary projection screen for overheads or other devices.
- Scanners: One Epson 4990 scanner.
- SMARTSync 2009 desktop control software (Windows only)

MacA222
- 10 station drop-in/project room
- mix of 20" (2009) Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 Gb RAM and 27" iMacs (2011), Intel Core Duo, 4 Gb RAM
- Dual-boot to Mac OS 10.6 or Windows 7

- Analog-to-digital audio recording/conversion station to digitize tape and live audio.
- Analog-to-digital video conversion station to digitize various video tape formats (VHS, S-VHS).
- Printers: None but stations are setup to print to MacD211, MacD282 and Curriculum Library printers.
- Projector: None. (But there is a blank wall space that a portable projector could use and Education projectors are available.)
- Excellent space for small-group and long-term projects. Contact us for more information on setting up for special projects.
- This drop-in/project room is accessible with an Education swipe card 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
Mck070
- 15 stations
- 20" iMacs (2008/9), Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 Gb RAM
- Dual-boot to Mac OS 10.5 or Windows 7

- Printers: Stations are setup to print to the Mckinnon 163 Resource Room printer
- Projector: None built-in (but coming soon!) There is a specially surfaced wall setup for a portable projector. Contact lab support or the EPHE General Office for information about available projectors.

Online
As well as the wide range of online resources supplied by UVic Systems, the Faculty of Education offers additional network and web resources for students, instructors and researchers, including:
- EDUC Netdrive - A large capacity network space for students and instructors to store course related work, projects and instructional materials including special setups for student folders, dropboxes, resource folders, etc. How to access the EDUC Netdrive.
- Education Webserver - a large capacity web space for instructors. How to connect to the Education webserver ("apalis"). This server will be deprecated in the next year. Please contact us for more information and help with migration to UVic central web servers.
- UVic offers other online services to students and instructors. Contact us for more information. Some popular services:
- UVic Moodle - UVic's online course management system (CMS)
- UVic Mailman - email lists for courses and other UVic groups
