Curriculum library

Among all the University of Victoria Libraries, the Curriculum Library serves the learning, teaching, and research needs of students in the Faculty of Education. In addition to friendly staff, the Curriculum Library has inviting work spaces, study rooms, computer stations, laptops for loan, and is a food-friendly library.  You’ll find professional resources, textbooks for K-12 classrooms, teacher guides, curriculum documents, puppets, and a vast selection of literature for children and teens.

Digital Studios

We also offer a number of digital studios with workstations and equipment supporting a broad range of production software.

Studios are available for bookings and most are available for drop-in use outside of regular hours.

Subject Resource Centres

We have a number of subject specific resource centres offering a rich array of books, lesson plans and equipment to help aspiring and practicing teachers as well as teacher-educators.

Centre for Outreach Education (CORE)

The Centre for Outreach Education (CORE) is a multidisciplinary centre dedicated to enhancing the education of children and youth, which started thanks to a generous bequest from a retired primary school teacher. Part of CORE's mandate is to offer its services and expertise off campus as well as welcoming the community to its on-campus space in the MacLaurin Building.
