Student access to libraries

Students in the Faculty of Education have access to all University of Victoria Libraries.

Curriculum library

The Curriculum Library serves the learning, teaching, and research needs of students in the Faculty of Education. In addition to friendly staff, the Curriculum Library has inviting work spaces, study rooms, computer stations, laptops for loan, and is a food-friendly library.  You’ll find professional resources, textbooks for K-12 classrooms, teacher guides, curriculum documents, puppets, and vast selection of literature for children and teens.

Pia Russell (Education Librarian) and Carol Nahachewsky (Education Specialist) have created several Library Guides to help you get started in your search for quality materials.

Digital studios

We also offer a number of digital studios with workstations and equipment supporting a broad range of production software.

Studios are available for bookings and most are available for drop-in use outside of regular hours.

Subject resource centres

We have a number of subject specific resource centres offering a rich array of books, lesson plans and equipment to help aspiring and practicing teachers as well as teacher-educators.
