The Field Experience Office
Betty, Luanne, Phil and Maureen are there to help you every step of the way.
The Field Experience Office arranges all field experiences/practica for elementary, middle years and secondary student teachers. The field experience staff will answer your questions about school and alternative field placements.
Student teachers will have an opportunity to do field experiences in both schools and alternative field placements. Depending on the program you're enrolled in, the number and length of required field experiences varies.
While on practicum, each student teacher will be assigned a mentor teacher(s) and a supervisor who will assist with both the mentorship and evaluation of the practica.
Office hours and location
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (excluding statutory holidays).
