A key part of CORE's mandate is connecting members of the Faculty of Education to community organizations to provide services that directly benefit children and youth. In addition to funding, CORE is able to provide ongoing support to important UVic-community partner programs by donating use of the CORE centre.

CORE is currently home to the following programs:

Inclusion Works!/ Inclusion Works! Saanich

In partnership with Community Living Victoria, Inclusion Works! is a family governed program that helps young adults with disabilities to learn, work, and participate in all aspects of the community.

"The CORE facility has been an invaluable setting for Inclusion Works. Our students have been entertained by physics professors, danced with leaders of the First People's House, read in the Curriculum Library, and exchanged jokes with the gardeners in the Finnerty Gardens."  -- Elaine Ethier, South Island Distance Education School (SIDES)
