How to apply
To apply to Chemistry Co-op, you must:
- have and maintain at least a B average in chemistry courses and overall
- be pursuing a full-time major or honours in chemistry
- be willing to accept placements outside of Victoria
- demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy of co-operative education
Graduating with co-op designation
If you successfully complete the requirements of the co-op program, you'll earn a co-op distinction on your degree when you graduate. Undergraduate students must complete four work terms to graduate with co-op designation. Graduate students must complete two to three work terms.

When to apply
You can apply to Chemistry Co-op in your first or second year—no later than the start of your third year. Applications are accepted until Sept 30 each year. If you’re a graduate student, contact the Chemistry Co-op office to see if co-op will fit with your academic schedule.
