  • generate career option ideas
  • use online resources to research possible career paths
  • arrange and conduct in-person informational meetings
  • decide on the next steps in your career

How it works

How it works

The Horizons Program is offered in an online format and runs throughout each term. You'll work through a series of exercises and assignments independently and take part in online discussions with program facilitators and other participants.

This program also offers you the option to meet with a career educator for one-on-one coaching in order to review your progress. Coaching appointments take place in our office on campus or by phone.

What time commitment is expected?

As the program is self-paced, you can begin the program at any time during the term. Horizons is designed to allow you to participate at your own pace, completing the modules that are most useful for you.

NOTE: Horizons is not a work search program and does not address topics such as résumés, cover letters, interviews, etc. If you're actively looking for work, please check out the Navigator Program.
