Promotional opportunities

Promotional materials distribution team: This team distributes promotional material like posters, tent cards and large paper banners on campus leading up to our events.
Classroom presentation team: These volunteers visit classrooms to promote and spread information about upcoming events.
Banner painting team: This team paints promotional banners for Co-op and Career events.
Chalkboarding team: This team spreads the word about upcoming events by writing chalk messages on classroom blackboards and major buildings.

Logistics opportunities

Pre-event set-up team: This team helps exhibitors set up their materials and displays and prepares career fair venues before events.
Set-up team: This team helps with any last-minute set-up, puts up event signage and balloon trails, and helps exhibitors with their displays. We’ll also need volunteers to provide parking directions and help exhibitors unload their vehicles.
Take-down team: This team helps exhibitors take down their materials and either sets up the room for day two or brings materials back to storage.
Registration and check-in team: This team is in charge of the exhibitors' check-in, parking passes and other event exhibitor logistics.
Student host team: This team helps our sponsors and exhibitors with everything they need during the event. They’re the main face of UVic for our partners and exhibitors, so we’re looking for people with an excellent customer service attitude.
Greeters: This team welcomes students and exhibitors to the event, answers their questions and manages traffic flow. We’re looking for people willing to provide general assistance and to encourage students to attend.
