The University of Victoria Green Vehicle Technology (UVic-GVT) team has been working on the development of contemporary hybrid powertrain designs with multiple-mode architectures and plug-in capability. The research facility is also the home of the award-winning UVic EcoCAR2 team sponsored by US and Canadian governments and many automotive, electronics and software companies.
