Description:

Do you want to learn how to present your ideas and perspectives in a way that others want to hear them? Do you want to understand how to maximize the personal and persuasive power you have as an individual either on your own behalf or on behalf of your team?

Power and authority do not simply exist due to a title, nor does the lack of a title indicate that one does not have power. This session will discuss different types of power and authority available to employees at various levels in the organization and give you a chance to ask questions around specific scenarios. As a participant, you will gain insight into how to understand power relationships and how to move beyond the boundaries of titles to develop your own influence muscle. Bring your scenarios!
