The momentum is building; the vision is becoming a reality

UVic strives to be the best and inspire others as world-class leaders in the pursuit of excellence, discovery and diversity. CARSA will bring students, faculty, staff, elite athletes and community members of all abilities together under one inclusive roof.

When its doors open this spring, CARSA will impact thousands of lives every day.

This is CARSA. Join us in building a landmark.

CARSA is...

Located along Gabriola Road near the McKinnon Building, the new centre will house the UVic Vikes sports and recreation programs, as well as offices, labs and a machine shop for UVic's CanAssist, with customized technologies, programs and services for people living with disabilities.

CARSA will be an inclusive, one-of-a-kind facility. It will be a home of champions, a resource for the wider community and a place where aspirations can be transformed into achievements.

It is also targeted to achieve the LEED gold standard. Its completion is scheduled for late spring 2015.
