Vikes Athletics

UVic’s Department of Athletics—one of the top programs in Canada—has a proud tradition of excellence, developing numerous national team athletes and future Olympians and Paralympians.

UVic has won more than 70 national titles and produces many future Olympians and national team athletes. The Vikes 16 varsity teams compete in Canadian Interuniversity Sport, Canada West, National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and other provincially based leagues.
Nothing compares to a daily dose of athletic-induced endorphins to inspire individuals to achieve their potential.
