50th Anniversary Signature Event

Eve Egoyan Concert

October 13, 2012 | Phillip T. Young Recital Hall

The University of Victoria was delighted to welcome Eve Egoyan, School of Music distinguished alumna and 50th Anniversary Honorary Cabinet member, to the anniversary celebrations. Eve gave a special performance of Surface Tension, a unique collaborative work for Disklavier piano and interactive video by Eve Egoyan and David Rokeby. Eve also treated the audience to solo works for piano by Erik Satie, Per Nørgård, and Alvin Curran.  See the Eve Egoyan concert poster.

We’d like to thank Eve Egoyan for joining the anniversary celebrations. Our thanks also go to everyone involved in making the concert possible including the audience, David Rokeby, event sponsors, the School of Music, Faculty of Fine Arts and External Relations. All proceeds from Eve’s performance will benefit the Eve Egoyan Experimental Music Award Fund.
