UVic's turning 50

50th Anniversary StampFrom September 2012 to June 2013, UVic will celebrate its 50th anniversary and you're invited to help mark this milestone in UVic’s history. We're gearing up for a whole host of celebrations and encourage the entire university community to participate as we engage with our past and look to the future.

This website is your first stop for information about the 50th anniversary. Here's your opportunity to get involved in our celebrations, to organize your own 50th anniversary event and to stay informed and connected with the many exciting celebrations that will take place at UVic.

50th Anniversary Festival50th Anniversary Festival, September 28-29, 2012

We are delighted to launch the 50th Anniversary Festival website. The 50th Anniversary Festival welcomes you to campus on September 28-29, 2012, for a jam-packed events schedule in celebration of 50 years of UVic excellence. Everyone is invited to attend! As part of the Festival, UVic welcomes back Alumni to the first ever UVic Homecoming. Make sure you don't miss this!

On September 4, 2011, President David Turpin launched the 50th Anniversary website and invited the university community to join the anniversary celebrations. See our photos from this fun event.
